EPIFANIA by Artist & Designer Sol Pardo
“I have always feared the dark."
This is the first thought that crosses Sol Pardo’s mind when she reflects on light. Within that fear lies her conflicted relationship with the infinite and the elusive. Silent accomplices of creativity, these forces suddenly sow unease at the very moment when the one who explores them comes face to face with them:Is my imagination truly as powerful as this black canvas that appears before my eyes when the light disappears?Emptiness and bewilderment take hold.A struggle against doubt emerges.Yet, through repetition, the one who imagines learns:the moment will come when a glimmer reconciles the creator with the darkness.“That moment of clarity, I call EPIPHANY.”
EPIFANIA is part of the series of collaborations through which TELITA OBJECTS invites artists and creators to dress and reinterpret the brand’s luminous structures. The fourth collection in this cycle, Sol Pardo’s proposal—created in collaboration with the PARDOhats community—continues a collective practice in which light becomes a shared territory and a living material through which to imagine new forms of presence.
